The core of this project is represented by the International Scientific Committee on Indoor Air Quality and Public Health, co-chaired by Professor Antoine Flahault and Professor Lidia Morawska. The goal of this committee is to gather the available evidence on indoor air quality and to issue evidence-based recommendations in the form of a policy brief, which will constitute the basis for the WHA resolution.
The Committee brings together 19 leading experts in related disciplines such as aerosol research, fluid mechanics, ecotoxicology and biology, building engineering, public health, and medicine. The strength of this committee lies both in its transdisciplinary nature and in the diversity of backgrounds among its participants. The experts come from Australia, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, India, the United States, China, and Belgium, bringing unique perspectives to the same issue.
